Director of Outdoor Education

Nick has over 25 years of experience teaching and training. He is an outdoor enthusiast and eagerly shares his knowledge about nature and the wild.


He is a Certified Interpreter Guide (CIG) through the National Association of Interpreters. He is also certified facilitator for  Project Wild, Project Learning Tree, and the Academy of Natural Resources through the DNR.

Padmaja Rao

Career Services Specialist

Padmaja has worked in the Career Services industry for over 12 years. Her interests include the topics of history, culture, and religion and she is passionate about providing education about Hinduism (Vedic) and Indian culture.


Padmaja’s other passions include world travel and theater.

She is an accomplished fundraiser and community advocate.  Dellashon is passionate about education and giving students the tools necessary for a successful future. She is an avid traveller and is always eager to share her adventures.​

The mission of Our Global Kids is to expose students to a broad array of global diversity found in people, traditions, and the environment around the world.  
We aim to increase our student’s understanding of the impact of global transitions on our local and national communities.

Greg was an educator for over 15 years and Olivia is a classically trained horticulturalist. Together, they form Brother Nature Produce whose mission is to collaborate with farms in the city and supply organic food without the organic price.  They also seek to inspire southeast Michigan cuisine using locally grown products.
